Greetings in Jesus Name,                                                                                   10/19/07

III John Vrs 2 "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."

It is good that I write concerning the ministry God has given to my wife Judy and I. We can never praise Him enough for putting us into the ministry 1st Timothy 1:12 "And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;" God has surely been good to us  helping us along the way. When others have said they will go all the way with the Edmunds, though they are long gone….God is still with us and leading all the way. Bless His Holy Name!

Judy had the privilege to lead three ladies to the Lord in the past two weeks. We have had some visitors walk into the church (a rarity) in these days. Someone said why can't folk get those newly saved into the church services, hay, why can't churches get their members into the services. No excuse at all but we live in these strange times of no dedication. Perhaps we preachers
should preach more on dedication and repentance. Our time is short.

I went to a four day Preachers School through Good Shepherds Baptist Missions. It was a shot in the arm for me and I learned much in those four days. I would like to indorse
Good Shepherd Baptist Missions to you. I will let you know when they will be holding their next school.
God has been blessing the church with two new families. We are thankful for that. The gas crunch has effected some of our members as a few live some distance to come here. One family travels 35 miles. It's been difficult for them I know. I've
talked to some other preachers and it's effected them too.

We have put the Gospel Tent away for the season. We did not preach as many Gospel Tent Meetings this year as in the past but what we did do was great.  We have scheduled some for next year as well as some Revivals to preach.

Judy and I both have been doctoring for our legs, backs, and all in between it seems. The doctor has scheduled me to have  an
M R I  on my lower back but the insurance is kicking about out. Pray we can get this resolved.

Pray for Judy as she is losing weight. I went on a diet also. So far I've only gained two and a half pounds. I've lost a thousand pounds in 62 years. Skin is an amazing thing.  God Bless You All. Your Hillbilly  missionaries.
